The Regiment Turns 136 |
|
On 3 March 2021 the 1st/15th Royal New South Wales Lancers celebrated 136 years of service to the Australian Nation. After a year deployed on bushfire relief and COVID guarding duties, the parade was low key. Nonetheless it brought together all unit members from their far flung depots in a celebration unique in Australia.
On the parade, the CO, Colonel White promoted Nathan Albertini to the rank of Corporal, and presented Corporal Elizabeth Smith with an Australia Day Medallion for her work on the Bushfire and COVID operations.
